Schools

A school website parents can use and staff can update.

Admissions information, notices and term dates where parents expect them, an admissions enquiry form, and simple editing for school staff.

The problem

School websites often hold outdated notices because only one person, or an outside agency, can change them. Parents phone the office for term dates and admissions details that should be easy to find.

A clear structure and simple editing mean the office can post a notice in minutes and admissions enquiries arrive with the information needed to reply.

What a project can include

  • Pages parents look for: admissions, fees information if you publish it, notices, term dates, contact
  • An admissions enquiry form that captures class, contact preference and questions
  • Simple notice and calendar editing for named staff
  • Mobile layout for parents on phones
  • A handover session and a short editing guide for staff

Concept interface — fictional data, not a client project.

How a school website project runs

  1. Agree what parents need

We list the information parents ask the office for most often.

  2. Decide who edits what

Named staff are given simple editing for notices and dates; structural changes stay with us or your designated person.

  3. Design, review and test

Previews are reviewed by the school, and the admissions form is tested end to end.

  4. Train and hand over

Staff receive a short session and a written guide.

Common questions

Who maintains the content?

Named school staff update notices and dates. What else they can edit, and what is handled by us under a care arrangement, is agreed in the proposal.

Can the site be in more than one language?

It can be explored. Additional languages affect the scope, so they are discussed and priced separately.

What happens to our existing site?

We review it first. Useful content is moved across and the old address is redirected so existing links keep working.
